RESTORATION PROCESS
The pictures below will show the steps in a Restoration Process from start to finish.
All WOW Toys go through the same procedure.I do not just fix a bad tape player, or mouth that doesn't work,it is completely gone over inside and out.This keeps reworks to a rarity.

his guy will need a new eye assembly.
Whether it is Teddy Ruxpin,Mother Goose,Snoopy. All WOWs' get completely disassembled.Just what the doctor ordered a new eye assembly.
Plastic parts are cleaned, and inspected for cracking,breakage,and warpage.
Metal parts are cleaned and inspected for corrosion.
Foam body assemblies are inspected for tearing,loose fur,and soiling,disassembled and cleaned.
Tape Players are refurbished,
disassembled,cleaned,inspected,relubricated.New tape player drive belts (thicker than originals) are installed.Tape player head is aligned and demagnetized.Tape player head,capstan,and pinch roller are cleaned.(no alcohol solutions are used to clean the tape player).
Tape Player is tested as well as the printed circuit board and on/off/volume control.Testing as a whole assembly insures everything is working.
I DO NOT massage the Animatronic Servo Motors,
or run them for an extended period to get them working again,which are the common methods.
These are temporary fixes.
Every Animatronic Servo Motor is Serviced, disassembled,cleaned,
inspected,relubricated,
reset.This is a very important step,and I am the only Restorer who does this service.
I haven't gotten any returned for "servo freeze" even after 14 years.
Animatronic Servo Motors are tested with the tested sub-assemblies to further insure all is synchronized.
Electrical wiring,contacts,and soldered joints are inspected as well as the Molex connections.
A further test is administered for the complete assembly under load or operating conditions,here the tape player,printed circuit board,on/off/volume control,head assembly including servo motors,spring tension adjusted, all are checked to insure Quality Control and Assurance.
The external fur and clothing
is cleaned and inspected
for tears,rips,seam stretching,loose fur
,and soiling.
(cleaning solution is a safe anti-bacterial product).
There are quite a few modifications and upgrades that are performed as well,but these are all trade secrets.
I have to make this look like DR. C.E. was never here.
